Job summary

Impulse Space is seeking an Identity Governance Engineer to maintain, enhance, and scale our enterprise identity and access management capabilities across corporate, cloud, and regulated environments. The role is hands-on and focuses on Active Directory, Entra ID, authentication, and privileged access management.

You will collaborate with Information Security, IT, Engineering, and business teams to ensure proper access across systems, with automation using PowerShell, Graph, REST APIs, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional relative experience.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management and security engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience administering and engineering Microsoft Active Directory.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD in hybrid environments.
• Experience managing Conditional Access, MFA, and privileged access.
• Experience with identity lifecycle management, RBAC and access reviews.
• Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SCIM.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell and APIs; PKI knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) capabilities.
• Manage and improve identity lifecycle processes including provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Maintain and enhance Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID with hybrid identity integrations.
• Maintain and improve Entra Conditional Access, authentication methods, and identity security policies.
• Support certificate-based authentication for users and devices.
• Maintain Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and PAM integrations.
• Maintain enterprise SSO, federation, and provisioning integrations (SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM).
• Govern employee, contractor, partner, and non-human identities across multiple environments.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Graph, REST APIs; collaborate to monitor and remediate risks.
