Job summary

Trillium Health Resources is seeking a Quality Management Specialist II - IDD to monitor Home and Community Based Services for members and ensure HCBS compliance with the final rule. This role is remote within North Carolina, with travel within the 75‑mile catchment of the Southern Region.

Responsibilities include reviewing service documentation, coordinating with Care Management, and conducting planned/unplanned visits as needed to support quality and waiver requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet Qualified Professional (QP) status per NC requirements.
• Must reside in North Carolina and within 75 miles of Trillium’s Southern Region, which includes the counties Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Hoke, Lee, Moore, New Hanover, Robeson, and Scotland.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Monitor HCBS service compliance with state standards, waiver requirements, and Medicaid regulations.
• Promote satisfaction through ongoing communications and timely follow-up on concerns.
• Perform announced/unannounced monitoring visits to members, including nights/weekends as needed.
• Ensure services are monitored in all settings (observations, telephonic, emails, etc.).
