Job summary

Northeast Kingdom Human Services in Derby, VT seeks an Employment Support Professional to provide personalized job support for individuals with IDD, helping them achieve competitive employment.

You'll transport clients, build supportive working relationships, and foster independence while meeting safety standards. A valid driver’s license is required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals who have an intellectual/developmental disability preferred.
• Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Transports consumers to and from work.
• Develop a rapport with individuals to cultivate a safe and supportive working relationship.
• Provide skill-building techniques and supports to help individuals decrease dependency on agency services.
• Assist and support individuals to develop natural supports at the work sites.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and provide transportation as required.
