Job summary

PermiaCare seeks dedicated staff to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live their best lives. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and behavior supports while ensuring physical and emotional needs are met.

This role includes transportation for individuals, possible rotating shifts, and flexible hours. A Texas Driver's license and background checks are required; Nurse Aide preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: At least 1 year working with individuals with IDD or related conditions preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's license and driving record acceptable to PermiaCare's insurance requirements.
• Must pass criminal history/background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Nurse Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring, daily living activities, behavior supports, personal care.
• Provide residential, ISS, day activity, crisis and community supports per standards.
• Transport individuals to various locations and work rotating schedules.
