Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of work experience as a sitter/companion in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in Behavioral Health.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Complies with Oconee policies/procedures.
• Comply with client facility nursing policies/procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality relative to patient services and facility practices in accordance with the HIPAA.
• Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
• Provides companionship services, such as sitting with patient or reading to patient.
