AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. Amazon is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. You will work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in developing innovative ways to automate and scale our network.

To be successful in this role you should possess technical aptitude, strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people in a wide variety of situations. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and be able to exercise initiative, judgment, and diplomacy.

Additionally, candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to success.

Physical Requirements All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment with participation in primary responder rotation and after-hours support as needed
• Working in cramped, elevated, and/or noisy environments
• Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing, and walking for up to 8+ hours a day
• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely

Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in technical or vocational roles such as Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience delivering design solutions for large-scale projects
• Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package includes sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
