ABC Imaging seeks a dependable iCUT Technician in Carlstadt, NJ, to operate digital cutting equipment and produce high-quality graphics, signage, and packaging components. You will read orders, set up machines, and ensure finishes meet customer specs while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1–3 years of cutting equipment experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience operating digital cutting equipment (iCUT, Zünd, Kongsberg, Esko or similar).
• Experience in commercial printing, signage, display graphics, or packaging production preferred.
• Ability to read production tickets and use measuring tools accurately.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate iCUT digital cutting equipment according to production specifications.
• Load, align, and unload materials such as foam board, PVC, vinyl, and other substrates.
• Read and interpret work orders, cutting files, and production schedules.
• Perform precision cutting, routing, creasing, scoring, and kiss-cutting as required.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to customer specs.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Work closely with Prepress, Printing, and Finishing teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in other production or finishing areas as business needs require.
