Responsibilities

• Serve as the central focus of communication for the Patient-C Care Unit.
• Coordinate clerical functions of the Unit, including charting and admissions/discharges.
• Maintain organization within the nurse's station for orderly workflow.
• Receive, sort, and organize interdepartmental communications.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments with other departments.
• Answer call bells and assist as appropriate, handling a high volume of calls.
• Welcome and assist all visitors to the unit.
