MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cortez, Colorado. The role requires an Active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of ICU experience. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience.
• Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients in ICU with high acuity.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Ensure life-support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes) functions properly.
• Monitor vitals and signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheterizations as needed.
• Meticulously document medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures and CPR as required.
