Job summary

The ICU RN travel assignment in Springfield, IL offers a 24-week commitment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. You’ll deliver critical care, operate life-support equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team under Fusion Medical Staffing guidelines.

Candidates need 1 year ICU experience, current IL RN license, and BLS/ACLS; CCRN and other certifications are preferred. Travel compensation includes comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

One year of recent ICU RN experience required.
Current RN license in Illinois or applicable state.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes.
Administer complex medications and operate life support equipment.
Document care and communicate with the care team.
Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings.
Educate patients and families about ICU treatments and recovery expectations.
