Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Lithonia, Georgia. Position requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS/NIH certs, and ability to perform 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include ICU patient monitoring, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and family education. Travel nurses work 36 hours weekly and must be prepared for lifting and patient handling.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience is required.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications are required before starting.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an ICU setting.
• Document and provide physician-directed care; implement patient care plans.
• Educate and support patient families, including long-term care planning.
• Perform bedside nursing tasks: administer meds, order tests, and interpret results.
