Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience.
• Travel nursing eligibility determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life-support equipment such as ventilators.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respirations for signs of distress.
• Administer medications and IVs, insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to promptly control changes in patient condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
