Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specialized in ICU for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role requires a Tennessee- or North Carolina-licensed RN with ACLS/BLS, and 18+ months of ICU experience.
Expect 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts, and a travel stipend package discussed with the recruiter. This travel assignment offers competitive weekly pay, housing options or housing allowance, medical/dental coverage, and a full benefits package
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certification
- Eighteen months of recent ICU experience
- Other requirements to be determined by client facility
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to adults in ICU with life-threatening conditions
- Manage life support equipment and critical therapies
- Monitor vital signs and respond to instability
- Administer medications and insert catheters as needed
- Document medications accurately and timely
- Assist in emergency procedures and CPR when required
