Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Florence, SC. The role emphasizes critical care, patient safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Start date is approaching, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week.

The ICU RN will manage life-support equipment, administer complex medications, and provide education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCR N certification preferred.
• TNCC/NIHSS certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in ICU and respond to status changes.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care standards.
• Operate advanced life support equipment and monitor hemodynamics.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about ICU processes and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care and outcomes.
• Maintain infection control and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
