Job summary

TotalMed RN in Brighton, MA seeks Intensive Care Unit RNs for a travel assignment in the Boston area. The position runs 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and travel pay arrangements.

Candidates must have ACLS, BLS and at least 2 years of acute care experience, MA licensure eligibility, and strong critical care skills for bedside care, meds administration, testing, and family communication.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience.
• RN license in good standing and eligible for Massachusetts practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Collect samples for labs and interpret results.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment and document readings.
• Ensure proper placement of catheters and lines.
• Communicate patient status with families.
