Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Torrance, CA. The role requires strong critical care skills and adherence to nursing standards with patient-focused care for 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in the state, current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ICU experience in the last three years. Amergis offers competitive weekly pay, health/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate if applicable.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• The physical ability and perceptual acuity to perform direct and indirect patient care.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use the nursing process.
• Minimum of one year ICU RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS cards as required by facility or ICU contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide care according to nursing standards and patient care plans.
• Assess patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to manage ICU patients.
