Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Intensive Care Unit travel nurse in Independence, Missouri to join a 13-week assignment. You’ll work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts as a travel RN, providing direct ICU care and coordinating with physicians. ACLS/BLS required; 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in ICU; document and provide physician-directed care.
• Assess and implement patient care plans; delegate to other staff as needed.
• Educate and support patient families about care plans and long-term needs.
• Provide basic bedside care; administer medications and monitor responses.
