Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ICU in Phoenix, Arizona. This assignment is 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week and night shifts (12 hours). The role requires an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Candidates should have at least 18 months of recent Acute Care ICU experience. As a Joint Commission-certified agency, MedPro provides housing options or housing allowances, weekly pay, and full credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• 18+ months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in ICU and support to patient families.
• Ensure proper operation of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and catheter care as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency procedures to stabilize patients.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
