Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU assignment in Mesa, Arizona. This project involves 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts, with a 13-week duration and travel benefits.

The nurse must hold an active RN license, have an accredited nursing degree, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Eighteen months of ICU experience is required as well as client-specific requirements.

Qualifications

Active RN License is required.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS Certification are required.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in ICU and support to patient’s family.
Manage life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
Monitor vital signs and observe for signs of distress.
Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
Meticulous documentation of medications and interventions.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures to ensure rapid changes in patient condition are controlled.
Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
