Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an ICU travel nurse (RN) for a Clinton, Maryland assignment. This ICU RN role involves highly acute care responsibilities, 12-hour rotating shifts, and a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years recent acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications. Travel benefits include weekly pay and guaranteed hours, with tax-free stipends and hospital staffing support.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer, record, and report prescribed medications.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Collect lab samples and interpret results.
• Monitor and interpret patient data and equipment.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters and leads.
• Communicate patient condition and care plans to families.
