Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Cambridge, MA. The ICU RN will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting, monitor patients, and coordinate with the care team.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and a valid RN license. Shifts are 12 hours with a 36-hour week, and travel benefits include weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor ICU patients and provide direct patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and monitor equipment.
• Communicate patient conditions to families.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
