Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Derry, New Hampshire. This ICU travel position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, and travel employment status.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and is ready to provide bedside care, administer medications, monitor patients, operate critical equipment, and communicate with families. Weekly pay and benefits are included through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certified; 1 year of acute care experience required; additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Collect samples for lab work and interpret results.
• Monitor and adjust critical care equipment and document readings.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing.
• Communicate patient conditions and progress to families.
