Job summary

TotalMed RN in Oak Bluffs, MA seeks an ICU RN for a travel assignment. The role covers continuous patient assessment in an ICU, administration of medications, and coordination with physicians and staff. You will educate families and support care planning in a fast-paced travel setting.

Requirements include ACLS and BLS, along with 2 years of acute care experience. This travel position offers 12-hour rotating shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor ICU patients and provide direct patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
• Educate and support patient families, communicating patient conditions to relatives.
• Coordinate with the care team and manage equipment in the ICU.
