Job summary

TotalMed RN in Bossier City, LA is seeking a travel ICU RN for an initial 13-week assignment. You will work 12-hour day shifts, averaging 44 hours weekly, in a high-acuity ICU with diverse patient types including respiratory failure, stroke, sepsis, and renal failure.

Applicants should have 2+ years of acute care experience and strong skills in ventilator management, intubation/extubation, CVL management, and EKG competency to ensure compliance and safe patient care during travel assignments.

Qualifications

• Stroke experience required.
• Ventilator management competency required.
• Ability to assist with intubation and extubation.
• CVL management experience preferred.
• Foley catheter management required.
• Tube feedings via NGT or PEG experience preferred.
• Pass a competency exam including EKG to ensure compliance.
