Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Petoskey, MI. The travel RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift in the ICU, providing critical care and direct patient monitoring. Requires ACLS/BLS and 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Travel expectations include lifting and mobility tasks, with hazards from infectious diseases; continuity of care and family education are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour nights in ICU and travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside ICU care and monitor critically ill patients.
• Administer medications, record responses, and report adverse events.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust patient care plans as directed.
• Collaborate with physicians and families to communicate patient status.
