Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week night shift contract in West Virginia. Requires 2 years ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Active WV or Compact license is required; pending license considered. CCRN preferred. Travel-friendly role with housing and licensure support.

Responsibilities include 3x12 hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekday coverage and every-other-weekend duty. Floating, CPSI EMR, and complex ICU care are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Active WV license or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA BLS/ACLS required)
• CCR N certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; charge nurse preferred
• Experience with conscious sedation, telemetry, and ventilator management

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Weekday coverage with every other weekend
• Floating required
• Provide ICU nursing care including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer vasoactive and sedation drips; ABG interpretation
• CPSI EMR usage
• Travelers orientation and pre-start training
