Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Cambridge, MA. The role involves providing comprehensive critical care to critically ill patients, with a focus on monitoring, treatment administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team in a high-acuity ICU setting.

The position requires one year of ICU RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications, with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with critical care nursing standards
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies
• Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
