Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking an ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment at OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru, IL. You'll provide critical care to ICU patients, monitor hemodynamics, titrate vasoactive infusions, manage ventilated patients, and respond to deteriorations with the care team.

This assignment includes Nights shifts on a 3x12 schedule with travel benefits from Advantis and Day 1 benefits. Active IL RN license required; 2+ years ICU experience preferred.

Job description

This ICU travel nurse position in Peru, Illinois, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) contract at OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center - Peru. This role pays $2,149 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

As the ICU registered nurse on this assignment, you'll care for critically ill patients on continuous monitoring, titrate critical infusions as ordered, manage ventilated patients, and act immediately on signs of deterioration with the critical care team.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients requiring continuous hemodynamic monitoring and frequent reassessment
• Titrate vasoactive, sedation, and other high-alert drips as ordered and per facility protocol
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients and manage critical care devices, including arterial and central lines
• Respond to clinical deterioration and participate in codes and rapid responses

Travel Nursing Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active Illinois RN License
