Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking skills required in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition.

• Two years nursing experience, with telemetry focus.
• One year in step-down unit preferred.
• Clinical competence in nursing practice.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Critical Course certification preferred.
• Graduate from an approved nursing program per NCSBN.

Responsibilities

• Delivers advanced professional and technical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Performs nursing techniques for patient comfort and well-being.
• Participates in performance improvement to ensure quality care.
• Assists physician during treatments and examinations.
• Plans, supervises, and instructs secretaries and Nursing Assistants.
• Uses critical thinking to adjust care plans based on patient outcomes.
