Job summary

PeaceHealth in Washington's Bellingham area is seeking an experienced RN for the ICU Stepdown Unit on a full-time night shift. You will monitor high-acuity patients, deliver evidence-based nursing care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate outcomes.

Minimum one year of progressive care or stepdown experience, active RN license, BLS, and ACLS/NIHSS certifications within 6 months are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of recent progressive care, intermediate care, or stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patients with complex medical needs and respond to changing conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care per professional standards.
• Document care accurately within the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Delegate and coordinate care among team members.
• Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
