Job summary

MaineHealth Memorial Hospital is seeking a part-time ICU RN with more than 1 year of RN experience to join our 25-bed Critical Access ICU. This 24-hour night/rotating position offers benefits and a supportive, close-knit team dedicated to high-quality care.

You will monitor and treat critically ill medical and surgical patients, including ventilator management, in a state-of-the-art ICU. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary team and provide education and compassionate communication to patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current state RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of recent RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill medical and surgical patients in ICU.
• Monitor patients continuously and manage ventilators as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and support staff.
• Educate patients and families and provide compassionate communication.

Education
