Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for full-time night shift. The role provides safe, patient-centered nursing care in a 170-bed acute care hospital with diverse services. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is offered for experienced ICU RNs.

Qualifications include RN graduation from an accredited program, NV RN license, ACLS/BLS, and prior acute-care experience. Excellent team-based environment and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program.
• Current NV nursing license.
• Current ACLS & BLS certificates.
• Prefer one year of acute care experience or three years part time.

Responsibilities

• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrate care activities.
• Coordinates the interdisciplinary plan of care; develops goals, treatment, and discharge plans.
• Performs hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, safety, and patient needs.
