Job summary

Clinch Valley Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an RN for ICU/CCU. This full-time night shift (7p-7a) includes rotating weekends to support high-quality critical care across a 175-bed acute care facility in Richlands, VA.

The role requires Virginia RN licensure, BLS and ACLS within 30 days, and a preference for 3+ years of hospital nursing experience. Competitive benefits and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license; if relocating, licensure must be updated to the new PSOR before employment begins.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Three years of previous clinically related hospital nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides age-appropriate care based on condition and age.
• Documents care and medical necessity in the medical record.
• Maintains and updates the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
