Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU). This RN delivers care to patients in critical condition, conducts assessments, develops care plans, and adjusts therapies to maintain stability.

This full-time night-shift role offers rotating weekends/holidays, specialty pay for experienced nurses, and an RN Step pay range of $36.15 to $59.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.
• Minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience preferred for training.
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred with post-hire support.

Responsibilities

• Assess critical care patients, create care plans, and adjust critical drips to maintain hemodynamic stability and sedation.
• Care for patients needing advanced monitoring, invasive equipment, and complex medication regimens.
