Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
• RN levels: RN I <1 year; RN II 1–3 years; RN III 3–10 years; RN IV 10+ years.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Coordinates nursing care with interdisciplinary teams and prioritizes patient needs.
• Documents nursing assessments, exams, treatments and care plans.
• Assists with exams, patient education, and care transitions.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and unit policies.
