Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking an ICU RN for the main ICU on a 0.9 FTE night shift schedule (three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM), totaling 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will work within a high‑caliber, multidisciplinary team, handling critical patient care, ventilators, and complex monitoring while delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care. A sign‑on bonus of $8,000 is available for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on a 0.9 FTE night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) in the ICU with three 12-hour shifts weekly.
• Manage life-support equipment (ventilators, central lines, drips) and act as patient advocate.
• Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care and smooth handoffs.

Education

Nursing degree from accredited program

BLS - American Heart Association

ACLS - American Heart Association
