Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee patient care in a high-acuity ICU environment. You will perform detailed clinical assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and educate patients and families.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, have 2+ years ICU experience, and BLS certification. You will join a mission-driven team in a Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing advanced care and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Min of 2 years ICU RN experience.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• As an RN, conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
• Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members; empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
• Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan; prioritize safety and effectiveness.
