Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a local contract registered nurse (RN) for ICU in Chelsea, Michigan. The role supports premium pay, flexible scheduling, and various practice settings within the Trinity Health system.

As a local contract RN, you will cover 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting ASAP for a 13-week assignment. The position emphasizes mobility within the hospital and across regions to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, ED, etc.
• Credentials per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float as needed across hospital locations or regions.
• Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Adapt to new duties and diverse cultural settings.
