Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire
• Clinical knowledge and critical thinking to deliver quality patient care
• Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical patient activities in the absence of Department Manager or Assistant Department Manager
• Develop and update an individualized plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis
• Implement and evaluate the plan of care, documenting patient response
• Educate patient/family according to assessed need
• Participate in quality improvement activities within department or health system
• Delegate and supervise care plan implementation to LPN, PCT, or other health care workers
