Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Tennova Healthcare - Jefferson Memorial Hospital provides patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, effective treatment. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, educate patients and families, and maintain infection control and safety standards in a dynamic inpatient setting.

We seek nurses with 0-2 years of clinical experience, current RN license, and Basic Life Support;

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred per facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in line with nursing process.
• Documents assessments and reports changes to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to develop care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
