Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks an experienced Registered Nurse II for the CICU unit. Under general supervision, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process, delivering safe and effective care in collaboration with the health care team.

Minimum: Associate’s Degree in Nursing; SC RN licensure or compact state; current BLS and ACLS required. Shifts are 12 hours; 24- to 48-hour per 6-week schedule options; PRN employment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification also required.
• Associate degree in nursing with BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
