Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, IA is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to care for critically ill patients requiring complex interventions. You will monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians to stabilize patients in a high‑acuity unit.

This role requires an ADN or foreign equivalent, ACLS and BLS, and at least one year of acute care RN experience; compact or Arizona RN license eligibility; and strong critical

Qualifications

• Associate's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent.
• Critical care competency exam passing grade or completed AACN curriculum within 1 year.
• One year of acute care RN experience.
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses plans and implements nursing care while ensuring patient comfort.
• Anticipates and responds to informational and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Guides and directs healthcare personnel in caring for patients.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment setup and use (IV pumps, monitors).
• Initiates emergency support measures (CPR, etc.).
• Assists with patient care duties (drainage devices, ambulating, hygiene).
