Job summary

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, active Florida RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and strong clinical skills. ICU experience preferred. English proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Florida RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• 1 year of critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Utilize clinical judgment to identify nursing diagnoses and implement interventions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment and nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge needs.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional nursing standards.
