Vetted Solutions is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a 12-bed medical/surgical unit in Chicago. The role includes hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management for adult patients.

Responsibilities emphasize evidence-based nursing, patient and family education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Open to all experience levels; ADN, BSN, or MSN candidates accepted.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care following nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
