Job summary

The Piedmont Newnan Hospital staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using established nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS certification, and a nursing program graduate. Additional acute-care certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) may be required within 6 months depending on unit. No experience is required for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Current Georgia RN license or multi-state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using nursing processes.
