Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialty unit. You will plan, implement, and evaluate care in alignment with standards and the organization’s mission.

Collaboration across disciplines and patient-family education are key responsibilities. The role requires one year of nursing experience and a suite of certifications (ACLS/BLS, oncology credentials as applicable).

Qualifications

• One (1) year of nursing experience required.
• ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider certification may be required for chemotherapy administration.
• APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months if administering chemotherapy to pediatric patients.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required for specified departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition; coordinate across disciplines.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Effectively delegate care to ancillary staff and precept new hires.
