Job summary

St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an RN for a 13-week ICU contract. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient care, clinical assessment, and care planning using the nursing process. BLS and stroke-scale certification requirements apply, with ADN required and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma is required.
• ADN degree required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ALS, PALS and SECURE certifications due within six months of employment.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within three months of employment.
• Experience in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill multiple RN roles: caregiver, decision-maker, advocate, manager, educator and communicator.
• Assess nursing needs, initiate and evaluate plan of care using the nursing process.
• Follow professional standards of practice to deliver dignified patient care.
• Promote patient comfort and quality of nursing services.
