Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services of Las Vegas is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Las Vegas, NV. The RN will care for neonates and post-operative cardiac patients, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and collaborate with neonatologists and other specialists.

Requirements include an active Nevada RN license, 2+ years ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS; CCRN preferred. Competitive pay at $55/hour with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Nevada or compact license.
  • Minimum 2 years ICU/high-acuity ICU experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN/Diploma).
  • BLS/ACLS; CCRN preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive ICU nursing care to critically ill neonates and post-operative patients.
  • Monitor invasive lines, ventilators, and hemodynamic parameters.
  • Administer meds and titrate vasoactive drips as prescribed.
  • Educate families and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure infection control.

ICU Registered Nurse - Las Vegas, NV

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Options: Days or Nights (12-hour shifts)
Start Date: February 16, 2026
Pay Range: $55 per hour (W2)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilledICU Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. TheICU RN provides specialized, high-acuity care to patients with complex conditions, including post-operative surgery patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced monitoring skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individualized and ongoing nursing assessments for neonatal patients.

  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies in a safe and timely manner.

  • Manage ventilators, IV and PICC lines, and titratable drips including dopamine and dobutamine.

  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Provide education and emotional support to families and caregivers.

  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and completely.

  • Participate in emergency resuscitation and stabilization procedures.

  • Maintain compliance with infection control, HIPAA, and all professional standards of practice.

Requirements
  • Active RN License: Nevada

  • Experience: Minimum two years of recent experience as a ICU RN (Level II or III).

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or Diploma).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients

  • Monitor and manage patients with invasive lines, ventilators, chest tubes, and hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz, arterial lines, CVP, etc.)

  • Care for post-operative open-heart, CABG, valve replacement, and cardiac transplant patients

  • Administer medications, titrate drips (vasoactive, inotropes, antiarrhythmics), and manage pain and sedation

  • Interpret cardiac rhythms, lab results, and diagnostic data; respond rapidly to changes in patient condition

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Provide patient and family education and emotional support

  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

Qualifications
  • Active RN license (Nevada or compact license)

  • 2+ years of recent ICU or high-acuity ICU experience preferred

  • Strong cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring experience

  • Ability to manage multiple critically ill patients simultaneously

  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Certifications Required
  • BLS (American Heart Association)

  • ACLS

  • CCRN preferred (or willingness to obtain)
