Job summary

North Carolina Baptist Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our team. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.

Responsibilities include patient monitoring, adjusting care plans, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring documentation accuracy in the EHR. The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and adherence to safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact and/or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience; two years preferred.
• Licensure in the state(s) where telehealth/virtual care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, updates care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical patient care.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and notes.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
