Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital seeks an ICU Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative ICU team. You will document care, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements include an RN license and an Associate Degree; ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of starting. ICU or step-down experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to create individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
• Document care accurately in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
